The project of Alicia Soto and the musician João Lima will see the light of day this month. A 'dance concert' that establishes a three-way conversation between two artists and the audience.
About Strings It is the second project of live dance and music concerts, after the one carried out with the pianist Helena Reis, which the choreographer Alicia Soto has been carrying out with different musicians since 2019.
From this series of creative investigations on contemplation, this proposal is born, which is presented as a sound installation in performance format of two characters wrapped in a world of sound and movement whose leitmotiv is to loosen knots.
An emotional journey that can raise questions and will establish a crazy and creative conversation between the musician, the dancer and the audience. A unique and unrepeatable emotional sound experience that connects you with yourself.

Both performances will be preceded by an artistic residency, both at the Sala Guirigai (from June 10 to 12) and at Teatro-Estúdio António Assunção (from June 17 to 19).
